Club Ski 30 is entirely volunteer inspired and run. If you’re a member with a good idea for an activity or trip, please step up to coordinate. Click the Activity Planning Resources for information to get started.

TGIF Social

What: Informal drop-in, mingle with other members and bring friends to check us out.
When: the third Friday of every month 5 PM until whenever
Where: various pubs and casual eateries – see calendar for this month’s location
Who can attend: members and non-member guests
Sign-up: Trip/activity application not required.
Cost: cash bar and food

Seaside Lobster Boil & Picnic 2025

When: Saturday, August 17, 2-6 PM (rain date August 18)
Where: SS Atlantic Memorial, Heritage Park, Terrance Bay, NS
Who can attend: Members only, and non-member spouses/partners
Cost: to be determined, limit 40 persons

Best Ball Golf Tournament 2025

What: No golf experience necessary! A fun social for all, and option to stay for dinner.
When: Sunday August 24, 2:30 PM
Where: The Links at Montague Dartmouth, NS
Who can attend: members (priority) and their guests
Cost: $37.00 pp includes green fees & prizes

Bowling Night Oct 2025

What: Back by popular demand, another fun evening of bowling with your Club Ski 30 friends. No experience necessary. Parking, food and bar on site.
When: Saturday, October 4, 2025 6-8 PM. Stay longer for more socializing and prizes.
Where: Woodside Bowlerama, 31 Atlantic Street, Dartmouth
across from the Woodside Ferry, next to Tim Hortons.
Who can attend: Members only

Discover Peru, Ecuador & The Galapagos Tours Oct 2026
Option 1: Peru & Ecuador Tour, 10 Days 9 nights
Cost $4399.00 pp Double $999, Single Supp.
Option 2: Peru, Ecuador and Galápagos Islands Tour, 16 Days 15 nights
Cost $7599.00 pp Double$1599, Single Supp.
When: October 1, 2026
Who can attend: members only at time of sign-up and during trip, min 21 pers, max 25 pers/tour
Payment: directly to Indus Travel. $500 deposit due by December 31, 2025. Final balance due June 1, 2026.
Sign-up: Email coordinator directly. Participants signed up by December 31 will receive a free upgrade to the luxurious Vistadome train with panoramic windows showcasing stunning Andes mountain vistas. Members, watch for email updates from the coordinator for possible new options.

Card Games Night

What: Crib and other card games to be determined. Includes pizza, munchies, pop, & prizes.
When: Thursday, April 17, 2025, 6:30 PM.

Axe Throwing Evening
What: Got an axe to grind? Enjoy an evening of throwing axes with (not at) your Club Ski 30 friends. No lumberjack experience necessary. Park in nearby paid parking lots or on street. Selection of local craft beer, cider, and wine. Opportunity to continue the evening dining in downtown Dartmouth afterwards.
When: Tuesday, January 21, 2025 4:30-8:30 PM.
Where: Timber Lounge Axe Throwing,16 Portland Street, Dartmouth
Who can attend: Members only, max 30 participants
Cost: $32 pp

Scotch Doubles Pool Tournament

What: No experience necessary! Enjoy pool, munchies, pizza & prizes.

Best of the Adriatic - Bus Tour of Croatia and Slovenia

Where: Dubrovnik, Split, Plitvice, Opatija, Ljubljana & Zagreb
When: Thurs Oct 10 to Mon Oct 21, 2024
Nights: 10 nights hotel, 1 night onboard flight
Who can attend: members only
Lodgings: hotels, twin sharing
Services: accommodation incl local taxes, daily breakfast, AC vehicle transport, sightseeing, English-speaking tour director & local guides
Getting there: price includes roundtrip airfare from Halifax or Toronto incl. taxes & fuel surcharges, airport transfers
Cost: $4039 including taxes based on twin sharing accommodation, add $649 single supplement
